Faro Island, also known as Praia de Faro, is linked to the mainland by a single, not too large road bridge, which can be accessed either on foot or by car. An extensive island that offers us the sea on one side and the Ria Formosa on the other. A ilha de Faro in the middle of the Ria Formosa Natural Park offers waves of medium quality. On arrival, the ideal is to look for the peaks at the eastern end of the island, as they move throughout the year depending on the circulation of the sands.
